Toys

Build your own doll house.

It's not a fill the doll house up with furniture, but all the boarder unattached to each other so you've got to build it yourself. You can paint it how you want it to be, then glue it all together using the bits and bob that comes with it and the help from the instruction.

The whole doll house would be make from thin wood, so that it would be easy to attach together, but also if you decided to add something to the doll house you could buy more of the thin wood and use the other design from the instruction to go with the house.

I would say this is a unisex doll house because it's a build your own, paint any colour you want it kind of house, It's more for children to use their imagination, Like it could be  a girly house, it could be a superhero house, really anything they want without it being more of a girls toy then a boys.

Really in any job as a researcher, the main thing you need to researching is topics based on the show, music, film.

His job can anything, like he said it could be the latest car news or a film scene that going on, so his main sources is the internet and phone, also with things like films you need to be contacted to the right people to get you the information and the latest thing.

Filming my film, 'Envelope of Love'

Today was the first day of filming my film, There were a few people late but we got act 1 all sorted and finished out.

The location was in  the collage library, which did have people working their so I had to try and record my scene without anyone in the background. I had all my shots written out so I would know how to shot each scene and when.

With the camera, I had some help from Ted because when it got the shots where the camera needed to be higher, Ted then was my eyes because I'm short. My two sound people were Paige and Will and my main star is Tobie Lang, who plays the librarian.

Everyone worked great and helped out a lot.

What did bug me was the 3 time I had to write the scrip and then on the day of shooting I had to change act 2 so that theirs only Tobie in the film and no one else. For all 3 scripts it was the characters size. 1st 4 actors 2nd 4 actor 3rd 2 actors. Even though I got it down to 2, I still had trouble finding the second actor. So when talking to Tobie he said something that gave me an idea, which change most of Act 2 so that their was no ghost we could see.

Today went well, it was quick and simple few retakes but other then that it went great, If it's the same tomorrow as it was today then I'm sure I can get the whole of act 2 done by tomorrow plus still some time left for me to do the audio of the female voice saying "Give it to him"

Tomorrow I want to finish everything plus get a picture (thumbnail) for the youtube picture when you first see it, Already got something in minds but can only be done tomorrow.

Comic layout

Leanne showed us how to make this layout on InDesign, She showed us how to make the rectangle then to copy and paste along the page

Creating Frames, Shapes

  • To make a star shape you need to use the tools polygon frame tool.
  • For the number of sides you want for the star, use the Polygon Setting dialog box.
  • Next is to width of the star, this is done by star inset which also insets the star image you created on to the page.
  • Also a zero can create a polygon when its a value Star inset

Comic style

1. Star Wars: the layout for this comic, is that it has two long sided for picture 1 and 2 and for the other 3 their all long down, pictures. I don't like this because, their too many scenes with only picture or with a small amount of story in it. Since they've used only small boxes and speech bubbles in the pictures, it doesn't take up so much space in the comic.

2. Weber's dairy: The layout are all different sized frames, 3 on each role. I really don't like that the speech bubbles take up the entire face, and not lot of drawing in the frame, only the people and background. I don't like that the speech bubbles are kind of squished together in the small frames.

3. Dark Rain: The layout is two big frames at the top and bottom of the frame and on long one along the middle. I like that the frames are bi fixing both picture (Detail drawing) and speech bubble and still have enough room to actually see, other details of the drawing.

For my Comic, I'll be using, number 3, Dark Rain. My reason why is because each scene are big, so that you can have enough room for pictures and the speak bubble doesn't take up so much room, like it does in Weber's Diary.

Another is the speech bubble, because with the bubble they've used them, with height to help show which is the 1st, 2nd he is talking and instead of separating all the speech bubble, it joined up together to make more space in the picture.

Script re-write (Tobie Lesson)

With the recording of our films starting, my is the last one to get recorded, mu only problem was that I had no Actors for my Film: in the film their were gonna be 4 character but with the drama students only being able to come on an Wednesday, it wasn't gonna work, so the only thing I could was to write another script, which I did.

Next problem was asking the College to let us us the library to recored, but turned out ok so that been booked.

Going back the script I just wrote I notice another problem, The amount of characters I had, It was 4 again which was the same problem I had with the first script, so when I got home I kept some of the script and adding some on for the third script I wrote.

This time I've only got two on screen characters and a female voice. Still haven't found any actors but I should have some by the time it's time to film my film, I hope.
