Postcard ideas

Thursday morning we were meant to bring in a postcard but only 2 brought theirs in, So what Leanna wanted us to do we couldn't until next Thursday.

We played a question and answer game on our computer

What our project is, is to create a postcard for bath using ideas from different postcard. (vintage, black & white, colourful...)

Once I found different postcard that I liked I saved them on my desktop then moved them to the google doc with a photo of Bath that I would be using as the main postcard. Under all the different postcards I written what style I want to use for my postcard and who's it aimed at.

CV's, Scan, Survey's and Groups

First we started of with a spelling test which I got zero right then we watch a youtube clip about bath college passport which tells you how to get bronze, Silver and Gold.

Once the Video was finished we talked to the person next to use about do we have a CV and what you need on a CV. Once we finished Leanne gave us sheet between us and  go and scan it so it'll email it to ourself. 

Once that was done we had to do a survey on our ProPortal then save it.

Near the end Leanna got us all to write our name on a sheet of paper then each 3 people she pulled out that was who we had to work with to decide on a team building game. Once we had a small talk it was time to log off our Mac and go home.

When over the last week have you demonstrated the following?

Knowledge- When learning about publishing I knew something about publishing since I've publish two fanfic. 

Communication Skills-When working with another person I had to ask someone I didn't know questions, Also when I needed help I asked for it.

Listening Skills- Learning more about media on films and stuff like publishing and how easy it is to publish more these day.

Creativity/imaginative- Creating our android character.

Follow Instruction- When we had to setup our google Doc's I had to listen to ever bit of instruction just so I knew where I was at and make sure I didn't make an mistake.

Team Work- Working with another person to ask question plus being asked questions to help each other and getting the answers we needed.

We went in groups of 3 for this project. We then got to a camera to try out then we had a break. When break was finish went back to our class room got our camera and sheet we went into town. In town we took different picture in different ways it said on the sheet like:

Rule of three
Depth
Viewpoint
Experimentation
Balance

Once we had pictures in different ways we came back to the classroom download the picture on to our computer where we put them on a google doc. To show what we did.

Colour wheel

I used my iPhone to take picture of colour objects around town. Once I had enough pictures I came back to the classroom where I uploaded them on the computer. Once there all loaded on to the computer and bring up photoshop. Before i could crop the colour pictures and needed a colour wheel which I had to find on google then get that onto photoshop and save it. Once that was done I then add layer of different picture from town then crop the picture then add them onto the colour wheel to where they belong to.
