Envelope of Love TV Spot

In todays lesson, I am starting to make the TV spot for my film. I've used the main things in my film like the box, the wax heart seal, spell book, ECT... I've done the edit of theTV spot just need to find the right background music which is proving to be hard to find.

The music I want to used is on Brittyy44 short film cursed Lake, It has the link to the website, but not what the music is called. On the website I've found another music piece thats been on The haunting of sunshine girls, so I assuming that this website is quite popular with YouTubers who make films.

I would definitely being using some of there music, specially the horror section. Sounds really cool.

Update of Envelope of Love

The film is complete, I had both Leanne and Tobie to watch it and give me feedback, Leanne said it the music is fine which was something I was worried about, and Tobie just said that the bit with dialogue need to be louder so he showed me audio gain which pushes the volume up higher.

I've now uploaded it on to Youtube and sent out links on Facebook to Tiny TEMPA Media and Major Crimes Fan Group and on my page for family and friends to watch it.

I am really pleased with my film, It looks and sounds good, The only thing I wish I had done was made it a bit more scarier like I said in my last Blog (Likes and Dislikes) But other then that I am happy with how it went.

Envelope of Love Short film Likes & Dislikes

I would say writing this script has not been easy, mostly because of the re-writes I had to do to get it right.

I like the fact that something I wrote is being made into a short film, thats pretty cool and I like how smoothly it went recording it.

What I'm not happy with is that going thought the clips I can see the boom twice, which is annoying; I would have liked it if the Library wasn't filled with people or at lest very few people. Also I would have changed the way Tobie said "Who" It sounds like the person on the phone has told him the name and he saying who instead  "Who" as in wondering who he's suppose to give the envelope too.


If I could have re-written this the first time we got given this I would have liked to have made it more scarier, maybe even used my creepy doll.

I am happy with what I came up with both time, but I think I could have came up with something better, still paranormal and more scarier but the problem would most likely be the actors.

Toy poster Update on the name

I have decided to change the name to 'Build your own Funhouse' It makes it more of a boy/girl house whereas Dollhouse I think would catch more of the girls eyes then the boys.

This is the poster for the 'Build your own Funhouse' it show the doll house separate, plus with bright colour to show that it can be what ever the child want it to be. It so they can use their imagination as they build it.

This is showing that the house is not attach together like other doll houses but separate, so that it shows that you can build it together yourself.

The colours I added to the house is to show is that it can look like anything the child wants it to be so that making more a unisex house so that both girls and boys can build and use their imagination to design it however they want it to look like.

Comic name effect

For a starter Leanne showed us how to make this which we copied along with her. Once we were finished we could choses our own font and colour. This is pretty cool, I'm not sure if I'll use it for my comic, but just have to wait and see what happen.

Tobie lesson (editing short film)

This lesson, go to do more editing on my film, I got to add more music to the background and Tobie helped with adding an ghost orb to the film, which I think makes it look better then it just being a empty scene like I was going to do in the first place.

I got all of it done but  still having thought of different music. Another worry is that it has a habit of going really slow, hopping it would be like that when I upload it on youtube.
